The Story Behind Bloom by lili

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to the little things that make life feel magical—wildflowers growing along the roadside, the smell of coffee on a slow morning, a well-loved book waiting to be opened, and treasures waiting to be discovered in a thrift store.

My name is Lili, and I'm a 20-year-old college student currently heading into my junior year at Elmira College. Bloom by lili began during a summer between school years, when I wanted to create something meaningful of my own. What started as a small business idea soon blossomed into a reflection of everything I love most.

My greatest inspiration has always been my grandmother. She taught me to appreciate flowers, nature, and the beauty found in simple moments. Her love for gardening and her free-spirited, hippie soul inspired my own love of wildflowers—my favorite flowers of all. While lilies will always hold a special place in my heart, there's something magical about a bouquet that looks as though it was gathered from a meadow on a warm summer afternoon.

Growing up, I spent countless hours reading books, wandering through gardens, visiting farmers markets, and exploring thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Some of my favorite memories are from road trips with my family, including an unforgettable journey from Pennsylvania all the way to Utah. Those adventures taught me to slow down, notice the beauty around me, and collect stories along the way.

Bloom by lili brings together all of those pieces of my life. Every cup-holder bouquet, blind date book, coffee, tea, and curated gift is inspired by the things that have brought me joy over the years. Each bouquet is handmade with care. Every book is personally selected and decorated. Every order is thoughtfully prepared as if it were being gifted to a friend.

More than anything, I hope that when you receive a package from Bloom by lili, it feels like opening a small piece of everyday magic. A reminder to slow down, savor your coffee, get lost in a good book, and always leave room for a little whimsy.
